Learn to surf on the world class waves of Port Elizabeth and its incredibly scenic beaches.
Wielding some amazing surf breaks for surfers of all levels, Port Elizabeth has some fantastic beaches offering an exciting day in the water. The majority of the surf lessons here will take place near the oceanarium, at Denville or King’s Beach in the area of Summerstrand. These sand bottomed beaches are located side by side with tides and conditions making them ideal for those getting the hang of surfing.
A professional and local surf instructor will guide you along the way to ensure you get the most out of your time. You will meet your instructor on the beach and can choose from either a 1 hour, 2 hour group session (with up to 6 people) or a private session for a more individual experience. Whichever you choose, you can count on maximum service. The team here is all about motivation and encouragement! All surf instructors are SSA approved. Just bring your swimwear, some sunscreen, and you'll be good to go!
