Les Arcs is a renowned French winter sports resort located in Savoie in the Tarentaise Valley. It was founded in 1968 by two friends, who fell in love with the steep landscapes of the Alps Mountains; one was a mountain guide and the other a native of the Alps. As it is only 3 hours away from the international airports of Geneva and Lyon, Les Arcs is a very accessible resort.
