The Zimmereben via ferrata is an ideal destination for ambitious hikers and families with athletic children. The via ferrata route is a path secured by steel cables through rocky terrain and rock faces. You'll have the chance to explore this vertical route with a professional and experienced guide. In the distance, the Zillertal Alps will stretch out before you as you make your way along the via ferrata in complete safety.
The Mayrhofen via ferrata has 4 different routes to choose from, depending on your level. In any case, this via ferrata will allow you to admire the Zillertal Alps like you've never seen them before! Try out the Mayrhofen via ferrata with your friends and family and challenge yourself to a convivial outdoor experience!
Your activity begins with a short approach walk from the car park near Mayrhofen. After receiving safety instructions and familiarising yourself with the equipment, the adventure begins. On the via ferrata route, easy climbing and walking sections alternate with steep steps. The highlight of the route is undoubtedly the rope bridge in the second half! Once at the top, you can stop at the Zimmereben for a drink, then head back down to the valley on a pleasant hike.

You can try the Huterlaner and the Kids via Ferrata. On request, or depending on the group one of the other routes is also possible.
The difficulty of the Huterlaner itinerary is C (difficult) and for the Kids route B (moderately difficult).

Minimum weight : 40 kg (88 pounds). In a group of 6 there can be maximum 2 people with a weight below 40kg.
Having no fear of heights and being sure-footed are required to take part in this activity. You also must be in good physical condition.
A minimum number of 2 participants is required to run this activity.
