Canyoning Down the Ribeira dos Caldeiroes in São Miguel, Azores

Then, once you have arrived at the set meeting point in the Ribeira dos Caldeiroes Natural Park, you will receive the necessary equipment for your canyoning experience (helmet, wetsuit, harness, etc.), and then set off on a short walk for 15 minutes, at the end of which you will receive a first safety briefing on the activity.

Then, you'll continue on a short scramble uphill after which you will stop for the second safety briefing. Your expert instructor is going to show you how to rappel before continuing onwards and upwards looking for the start of the canyon. Then, it will take just 10 minutes to reach the start of the Ribeira dos Caldeiroes canyon, where the fun will begin!

During this adventure, you'll go through several jumps between 2 and 7 metres high, ride a natural slide and perform a few abseils down beautiful waterfalls.
