Come and discover the charms of Mallorca on a horse ride from Can Picafort!

In the north of Mallorca, half an hour from Pollensa and 20 minutes south of Alcudia is the spa town of Can Picafort, which belongs to the municipality of Santa Margarita. Can Picafort is the ideal destination for a beach holiday with family or friends, as there are many restaurants, services and an infinite number of activities to do on its crystal clear beaches such as diving, kayaking, stand up paddle... But, it's not all about water sports in Mallorca! A great way to get to know several coves of the island in one day is on a horse ride.
The instructors at Nofrills Excursions propose a 3-hour horse ride from Can Picafort during which you will discover some of the best coves in the north of Mallorca on horseback. The activity starts at the Rancho de Picafort, where you will meet the instructors and their horses, who are trained to ride with people and know the route perfectly, so you don't have to be an expert in horse riding, just enjoy the ride.
The instructor will explain the basic notions you need to know for the ride and after handing out the helmet, the rest of the material and choosing the horse that best suits your weight and height, it will be time to start the ride! The horse ride starts in Can Picafort towards the beach of Son Baulo, where you will ride along the beautiful white sandy beach and continue through the area of Son Real, where you will find a necropolis from the 2nd century BC, until you reach Son Serra de Marina, where you will make a stop before returning to the Rancho de Picafort.
This horse ride from Can Picafort will undoubtedly delight you and allow you to get to know the north of Mallorca from a different point of view!
- Meeting with the guide at the ranch in Can Picafort.
- Distribution of the riding equipment, choice of horse depending on the height and short introduction on how to ride a horse.
- Start of the route to the beach of Son Baulo, to continue along the beach through the area of Son Real passing by a Phoenician settlement and ancient observation towers.
- Arrival at Son Serra de Marina, where there will be a brief stop.
- Return to Can Picafort through a pine forest.
