The Canadian Rockies stretch across the border between British Columbia and Alberta. From Banff in Alberta, White Mountain Adventures invites you to discover two canyons, two national parks and two provinces on an ice walk in Marble and Johnston canyons!
Your adventure begins with a drive to the starting point of your glacier hike in Marble Canyon. Located in British Columbia's Kootenay National Park, this canyon offers you the chance to discover sublime blue waters in spectacular gorges and beautiful waterfalls. Marble Canyon is crossed by a number of bridges, which also offer great views!
You'll then go to your second destination back in Banff National Park: Johnston Canyon, Alberta. Here, you'll go for a second ice walk in Johnston Canyon. This canyon is a must-see in Banff National Park. A world of frozen waterfalls and pillars of blue ice awaits you!
During these two ice walks from Banff near Calgary, you'll be accompanied by a guide who will show you the natural sites of interest along the trail. Transportation to and from Banff is also included, and you can enjoy hot chocolate and cookies to warm you up after your winter journey.
