Activity description

This Kayak and Snorkel excursion in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, will allow you to discover the rocky cliffs and warm crystal clear waters of Canary Island.

Lanzarote's subtropical climate allows you to enjoy the sea all year, with minimum water temperatures of 18 to 19 degrees in winter. This 3-hour Sea Kayaking excursion will take you to Playa Papagayo, near Playa Blanca, and its surroundings. The clear waters of Playa Blanca and the cliffs of the Los Ajaches Natural Monument provide the backdrop for an unforgettable excursion.

After preparing the materials and conducting an explanatory briefing of the activity: what you will see, kayak handling, and safety regulations, you will embark on an excursion from Las Coloradas beach, visiting cliffs, a cave, and the various virgin beaches that are located there.

You will rest and picnic at Papagayo Beach, where you will be able to swim and snorkel. After this break, you will refuel and continue your journey to Punta de Papagayo, which has the most incredible cliffs on the route of this nautical activity. During the tour, you will learn about eruptions, volcanism, the conquest of the Canary Islands, pirate attacks, and the biological values of our Biosphere Reserve.

We had a wonderful day out, everything was well explained and despite strong wind on the way back the group was kept together and got back on time. We will be going again next time we visit Lanzarote. 3 hours was the perfect amount of time, definitely appropriate for any skill level or age.
