Activity description
Travel through the beautiful Agriates desert of northern Corsica on a 4x4 excursion focused on the discovery of Corsican nature, starting from Bastia.
Natura Corsa proposes you to spend a memorable day in the Agriates desert, mixing the discovery of its fauna and flora in a 4x4 and swimming in the turquoise waters of its beautiful white sand beaches.
The Agriates desert, located in Haute-Corse between Saint-Florent and Ile-Rousse, is famous for its landscapes and its isolated paradisiacal beaches. Contrary to what its name suggests, the Agriates desert has a vegetation composed of the natural essences of the maquis (arbutus, myrtle, rockrose, olive trees, etc.). It is home to caves and troglodyte shelters, as well as abandoned villages and sheepfolds, which make a visit to the area equally enriching from a historical and cultural point of view.
During the 4x4 tour from Bastia, the driver will provide you with a lot of information about the Agriates Desert. He will drive you to the beaches of Ghignu and Malfacu, beautiful wild Corsican beaches where you will have the possibility to relax and swim for 4 hours. If you wish, you can also take a 2-hour hike along the coastline to get a closer look at the nature of this incredible desert!

Activity requirements
A minimum of 4 participants is required for the activity.
Minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult practicing the activity.
Special terms
A minimum number of 4 participants is required for this activity to take place.
In case of insufficient numbers or bad weather conditions, the activity will be postponed or replaced by the service provider Natura Corsa.
Swimming is not supervised and it is necessary to know how to swim.
The 4x4 seats up to 6 and is air-conditioned.
As for the departure point, the pick-up zone is approximately 20 kilometres around Bastia or 30 minutes:
- If you're in Bastia, you can be collected directly from your hotel, in front of the tourist office or from the car park at the old port.
- If you are outside Bastia, you can be picked up at a nearby location (Biguglia, Furiani, Borgo, Lucciana), to be confirmed with your driver once the activity has been booked.
