Seaside Cycling Excursion and Cave Swimming in Pula

Embark on a fun bike tour around the coastline of Pula - discover the town's port, nature, secret caves, and best spots for cliff-jumping!

This leisurely cycling tour begins in front of Pula Amphitheatre, before heading along the coast in the direction of Punta Verudela. Along the way, you will have the chance to uncover Pula's history and sights. Different spots you will cycle through include the old town of Pula, the seafront, the port, and the ex-shipyard "Uljanik" which has more than 160 years of tradition. Along the coast, you will also visit some of Pula’s most beautiful coves and famous beaches.

Once you have made your way to Punta Verudela by bike, you will make a stop at the Sacred Cliff, which is a symbol of Verudela. This place is visited by many couples and sunset lovers, due to its romantic ambience and beautiful sea views.

Once you have taken all the pictures you desire, you will get back on your bikes and pedal towards Stoja where you will be able to cool off in the sea with some swimming time and an aquatic visit to Pigeon's Cave, also known as Grotta dei Colombi. The semi-submerged Pigeon's Cave is listed as a Natura 2000 habitat with protected status. There are bat colonies that live and hibernate in the cave and due to their impact on the biodiversity of the ecosystem, they are a protected animal species in Croatia. The Pigeon's Cave entrance also offers an interesting view of wild pigeons nesting, where the cave got its name.

The interesting passageways of rocks, caves, and cliffs make Pigeon's Cave the perfect swimming location for all ages. For the brave among you, there will even be opportunities to try some exciting cliff jumping!

Once you've dried off in the hot Croatian sunshine, you and your guide will cycle back into Pula on your bikes, to end the tour.
