Visit one of nature's most beautiful creations - Plitvice Lakes! Croatia's most famous national park and UNESCO world heritage is visited by people from all over the world. Avoid crowds and visit Plitvice Lakes from above where the best views can be seen. Plitvice consist of 16 lakes and countless waterfalls. The colours of the lake and views from above are so stunning that it is hard to imagine it without seeing it with your own eyes. Be prepared to be mind-blown! While flying eastbound, you will fly over the magnificent green hills, beautiful blue lakes and endless woodland of Gorski Kotar until we come to the most renowned national park of Croatia - Plitvice Lakes! You will be stunned by the colours and shapes of these lakes and the astonishing beauty of their waterfalls, which were also used as the "wild west" filming location for the Winnetou movies.
Join this scenic flight in a Cessna 172 to have a panoramic view of this unique UNESCO side in Croatia and grab your camera to take amazing photos of the picturesque scenery of flourishing forests, wide waterfalls and lovely lakes!
Please note that this flight is a non-commercial cost-sharing flight which has fewer restrictions than commercial flights. As opposed to commercial airline passenger flights, the risk levels involved in General Aviation flights can be compared with risk levels found in road transportation in which you engage daily.
Course of events
- You will take off from Grobnik airfield and fly eastbound over the woodland of Gorski Kotar until you reach the Plitvice Lakes National Park.
- After 100 minutes you will be back at the Grobnik airport.
