Activity description
A 40-minute panoramic ride to the middle of the Lim Fjord starting from Rovinj where you can visit the Pirate Cave and stop for a cup of coffee in the café located on the inside.
Right next to Rovinj lies Lim Fjord, also called Lim Channel or Lim Bay is a 12-km-long deep sea bay, about 600 m wide at its entrance, and 33 m deep. It is a marine reserve with a status of protected landscape, a flooded karst valley (caused by melting of glaciers) of the ancient paleo-Pazinčica River, created in Jurassic limestone. You will be amazed by the fascinating terrain, shaped throughout millennia to arrive at its current state. A diverse, evergreen vegetation is typical of this region, giving it a unique feeling.
After a relaxed drive to the fjord's fish farm, you will visit the small fishing village of Vrsar. For the 90-minute break in Vrsar, you can choose between swimming on the nearby beach, sightseeing in the old town, or having a tasty lunch at some of the local restaurants.
