Activity Snapshot
Activity description
This via ferrata route offers incredible views and an unforgettable experience. The drive from Bled to Mojstrana takes about 25 minutes. The guide will park in the parking lot in front of the Slovenian Alpine Museum. Here, he will hand you all the necessary equipment, explain how to correctly equip it, and then complete a safety check. At the same time, the guide will give you instructions on basic climbing techniques and the tour that’s ahead.
You will set out on a short hike through the village and to the starting point of the protected climbing route, which is also visible from the parking lot. You will climb the wall with the help of fixed wedges and wire ropes. In this part, you will learn how to use techniques for climbing via ferrata. The climbing trail then splits into two routes with different difficulty levels, an easy and more challenging wall. At this point, the guide decides on which route you will climb, considering your experiences and skills. In one part you will also climb a steel ladder. At the top of via ferrata Mojstrana, you will find a miniature replica of Aljaž tower and wonderful views of Mojstrana and Dovje. You will head back on a forest hiking trail that will lead you to the village.
