Take a trip to the Dune du Pilat and enjoy an oyster tasting* from Bordeaux!
Do you want to combine a panoramic view from the highest dune in Europe with a tasting of a typically local ingredient? This activity is for you!
From the Dune du Pilat, you will have an unobstructed view of the whole Bay of Arcachon and the Landes forest. The Arcachon basin is a magnificent natural bay fed by the Atlantic Ocean, with a surface area of 1,500 hectares, which forms an inland sea sometimes taking on the colours of a real lagoon! Thanks to your passionate guide, you will learn everything you need to know about this incredible and unmissable place in the Bordeaux region.
After a morning on the dune, you will taste fresh oysters, directly from a local producer, accompanied by a glass of white wine. This moment of conviviality will give you time to admire the view of the basin one last time before your return to Bordeaux.

8:30 am: Meeting at the Bordovino flat and departure for the Atlantic coast. The guide will share with you his knowledge of the Arcachon basin.
10am: Climb to the top of the Dune du Pilat and discover the superb view of the Arcachon basin and the Landes forest. Take your courage in both hands: go down the dune and dip your feet in the water!
11:30 am: Taste the oysters ou crevettes of the Arcachon Basin, the speciality of the region, at a local producer's, accompanied by a glass of white wine!
1.15pm: Return to Bordeaux.
