About the activity

Accessible to as many people as possible, without even needing to know how to swim, this discovery of scuba diving at Cap d'Agde is the best way to experience your first immersion in the underwater world of the Mediterranean Sea. Accompanied by an instructor who will guide you all the way into the water, you will enjoy an experience adapted to your level, in complete safety. Whether you have been scuba diving before or this is your very first time underwater with a tank, you will enjoy your first dive at Cap d'Agde in complete confidence alongside a team of qualified professionals!

Depending on what you want to do, the diving centre can offer you either a simple 20-minute first dive to a maximum depth of 6 metres, or a combination of this first dive with 1 or 2 other 45-minute dives that will allow you to focus more on the aquatic environment in which you will be immersed. The first dive focuses on the first sensations experienced underwater (the absence of gravity, breathing through a regulator, the silence that surrounds you beneath the surface, etc.) as well as the basics of communicating with your instructor, things that you will become more familiar with on the second dive, which will be the perfect opportunity to observe your surroundings! You will be able to discover not only the volcanic seabed of Cap d'Agde, but also the underwater life that thrives there (numerous species of fish such as sars and saupes, octopus, starfish, etc.).

Children from the age of 8 and adults alike will be delighted by this discovery of diving at Cap d'Agde, perfectly equipped to dive in waters that fluctuate between 12 and 23°C from April to October along the coast. And let's not forget the comfort of the centre equipped with changing rooms, showers and toilets!
