Dive under the ice of the Robert Lakes in Chamrousse!
In the Belledonne massif, discover an unusual and impressive activity in a magnificent mountain setting! Accessible from the age of 8, you'll love the unique play of light and contrasts under the ice of Robert lakes...
When you arrive at the meeting point, accessible by ski lift, you'll be met by the instructors who will accompany you on your first ice diving experience in Chamrousse. They will explain how the activity works and the safety instructions to be followed. You will then be fitted with dry suits and taken to the ice diving spots.
One by one, you will go under the ice in total immersion with an instructor while the other instructor and participants wait at the surface. You'll watch the air bubbles glide past you and discover the beauty of the ice from below! Your experience will be immortalised in a souvenir video that you can purchase (at an additional cost).
Once your dive is over, you'll remove your equipment and get back to your belongings before leaving your state-certified instructors.

- Return to the chalet, return your equipment and finish the activity
Activity requirements
Minimum height: 140 cm
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Special terms
A video souvenir of the experience is available for €30, payable on site.
Pregnant people are not advised to participate in this activity.
The meeting point is accessible via the Chamrousse ski lifts (croix de Chamrousse cable car, then Lacs Robert chairlift), on skis or snowshoes.
