Tandem winter paragliding at Méribel, Les 3 Vallées

Meeting point is at the foot of the Méribel slopes, at the exact location confirmed by your instructor on the day of the flight. You’ll then head to the take-off site with your pilot, using the ski lifts (lift pass not included). Depending on weather conditions, the flight departs from either the Col de la Loze or the summit of the Saulire, two iconic spots offering stunning views over the 3 Valleys and the Mont Blanc massif.

Once the wing is ready, the adventure begins! Take-off happens by gliding on snow with skis or snowboard, before gently lifting off above the snowy slopes. The flight lasts between 15 and 20 minutes, a suspended moment to fully enjoy Méribel’s winter panorama and the incomparable sensation of floating through the air. Your certified pilot, a member of both the French Free Flight Federation (FFVL) and the British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (BHPA), ensures a safe and memorable experience from start to finish.

During your tandem flight over the 3 Valleys, you’ll witness a spectacular alpine scene: pristine ridgelines, snow-covered forests, and winding ski runs unfold beneath you. Depending on your preferences, you can ask your pilot for a calm, scenic descent, or add a touch of aerobatics for a more dynamic finish. Speed, balance, and altitude blend naturally for an aerial experience that’s both accessible and unforgettable.

This paragliding activity is open to all levels. Take-off simply requires the ability to glide and maintain balance on skis or snowboard: you must be able to ski at a beginner level, while intermediate to advanced level is recommended for snowboarding.

You can capture your winter flight with optional photos or videos available on-site (€50). The full activity lasts around 30 minutes, including 15 to 20 minutes of actual flight time, before a smooth landing near the Truite ski run in Méribel.
