Activity description
If you’ve always dreamed of flying, discover the art of paragliding with initiation flights courtesy of Parapente Mania. Discover the beautiful scenery of Normandy – gliding across infamous Omaha Beach!
This tandem flight is the perfect first flying experience. Accompanied by an experienced paragliding pilot, all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the views!
Organised based on weather conditions, you will take off from Omaha Beach, or neighbouring locations that include Vierville Sur Mer, de Commes or de Tracy Sur Mer – all of which offer stunning scenery and travel along the elegant northern beaches of France.
In particular, Omaha Beach is a location steeped in history – used by Allied forces in the WWII D-Day invasion, now a bucolic, seaside resort area.
Parapente Mania offers four different options to choose from :
Discovery Flight: Ideal for curious beginners
XC Flight: For the adventurous of spirit – get ready to experience high speeds and aerial acrobatics.
Premium Flight: A longer flight duration and some aerial tricks, too
Piou-Piou Flight: Suitable for children under 12 years old.
Activity
After a short briefing where you will learn about the flight, take off and safety instructions, get ready for your first flight – enjoying a scenic experience over the northern beach of Normandy. With your experienced pilot in total control, all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the views!
