Experience the descent of the Gourg des Anelles canyon in Céret in the Pyrénées-Orientales with Tendances du Sud!
Showcasing the wild and forested landscapes of the Pyrenean mountains, the Gourg des Anelles canyon is one of the most beautiful canyons in the Eastern Pyrenees. Intended for sportsmen, the canyon of Gourg des Anelles is a level 2 canyon and is made for those who wish to perfect their canyoning. Composed of a succession of big abseils, numerous jumps and slides, the sensations are guaranteed!
In order to reach the canyon, an approach walk of about 15 minutes is necessary. After putting on the wetsuits and being made aware of the safety rules, it is time for you to make your first rappel. With a height of 27 meters, it is the biggest and most impressive of the canyon! You will then cross a magnificent basin and enter the most beautiful and narrowest part of the gorge. You will then have the opportunity to make a succession of jumps ranging from 3 to 7 meters or rappel-toboggan. At the end you can have fun jumping and doing figures from a natural diving board of 4 to 5 meters. Finally, the walk ends in the river where you pass under huge boulders, with a last basin to cross.

- Meet at the parking lot of the Spar store: 8bis Place du Pont - 66400 Céret.
- Approach walk of 15 minutes.
- Installation of the equipment by the instructors.
- Briefing by the Tendances du Sud instructor to make you aware of the basic rules of canyoning.
- First abseil of 27 meters.
- Crossing of a basin, abseiling of 5 meters, and first slide.
- Succession of jumps of 3 and 7 meters.
- Succession of slides, abseil of 3 meters and jump of 4 meters.
- Jump of 6 meters or rappel-toboggan.
- Arrival at a natural diving board of 4 to 5 meters.
- Crossing of a cave and a last basin.
- Return walk of 15 minutes.
It is imperative to be able to swim and to be in good physical condition to do this activity.
Special terms
The activity is subject to the weather and can be cancelled by the instructor in case of risk.
You must be at least 1.38 m tall to do this activity.
