Learn new skills and explore the underwater world of Ios from Mylopotas Beach during this fun-filled, beginner scuba diving session in Greece!
Located in the Greek Cyclades, the island of Ios is situated in the Aegean Sea. Known for its crystal clear blue waters, rolling hills, beautiful sandy beaches, and white-washed buildings. With a total length of 18 km (11 miles), Ios is a popular tourist destination and a prime spot for water sports, especially scuba diving!
This beginner scuba diving session has a maximum of 4 participants and starts at the Meltemi Dive Center. Once you've arrived, you'll be greeted by your certified instructor. Then, the adventure begins! You'll put on your diving gear and head to Mylopotas Beach. With the guidance of your instructor, you'll practice breathing underwater in shallow water and once everyone in the group feels comfortable, you'll try different depths. Since the clear waters allow for greater visibility, you'll explore the underwater world with ease and marvel at the diversity of its amazing sea creatures.
