Activity description

If you want to try scuba diving but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course then Discover Scuba Diving is for you. Although this is not a certified course you will prepare for your Discover Scuba Diving experience with a 20/30 minute PADI DSD eLearning. You will then be guided through the process of taking your first breath underwater with our PADI instructors, either in our scuba pool or from the beach in shallow waters. The DSD is a short try-diving experience and introduces you to the basics of scuba diving including the
equipment, mask, buoyancy control (BCD), dive gauges and a scuba tank. You will also get to grips with breathing through a regulator and swimming efficiently in diving gear ready to take your next steps either on our boat (the DSD+) or by fully immersing yourself in the diving world through our certified PADI courses.

Activity requirements

You need to be in good health to dive and all customers are required to complete a medical form prior to diving.

Special terms

A shuttle service is provided to bring customers to the school in Agios Antonios, Skiathos. The Dive boat operates from a variety of locations around the Island so departure can be arranged from beaches close to where you are staying. Please contact your instructor.
