Langjökull, known as the 'Long Glacier,' is the backdrop for this captivating journey. Located in close proximity to Gullfoss, the waterfall meeting point adds a dramatic touch to your adventure. The route showcases diverse landscapes, while the Langjökull Glacier offers a dynamic canvas for your exploration. This region is not only about the captivating ice formations but also the fascinating Icelandic stories and music that accompany your journey.
As you embark on the journey, the Sleipnir team ensures a comfortable and safe experience aboard their enormous Monster Trucks. The adventure begins at Gullfoss Waterfall, where the meeting point at the 'Gullfoss - Panorama Restaurant - Cafe - Shop' marks the starting point. Look for the distinctive white Mercedes Benz Bus or Red Monster Glacier Trucks, depending on road conditions.
Once on board, the scenic drive to Langjökull unfolds, accompanied by an Icelandic music playlist accessible through QR codes on your seat. Your knowledgeable guides share captivating stories and facts about the glacier, creating a fascinating narrative against the backdrop of ever-changing scenery.
The heart of the adventure lies within the ice cave. Named "Odin's Eye," this natural wonder is crafted anew each year by the dedicated Sleipnir team. Guided by passionate local experts, you'll traverse icy corridors and witness the fleeting beauty of nature. Inside the cave, the glowing walls create a mesmerizing atmosphere, while outside, the vast glacier and surrounding views provide a photographer's paradise.

Course of events
1. Gullfoss Waterfall Meeting Point
- Location: Head to Road 35, proceed to the upper parking section of Gullfoss Waterfall.
- Meeting Time: Arrive by 12:45 PM to commence your adventure on time.
- Vehicles to Look For: White Mercedes Benz Bus or Red Monster Glacier Trucks, depending on road conditions.
2. Langjökull Glacier Exploration
- Beginning: Board the Sleipnir Monster Glacier Truck and select a comfortable seat.
- To the Glacier: Journey to Langjökull, the 'Long Glacier,' in safety and comfort.
- The Sound of Iceland: Enjoy Icelandic tunes, creating a memorable soundtrack for your journey.
- Stories Along the Way: Be guided by knowledgeable local experts, offering fascinating glacier facts and folklore.
- Into the Glacier's Heart: Explore the unique Odin's Eye Ice Cave, a fleeting masterpiece of nature.

3. Return to Gullfoss Waterfall

- Ice caves are natural phenomena, subject to weather conditions. Tours may be canceled with short notice for safety reasons. Ice cave exploration might not be available from February to October. Alternative tours, dates, or full refunds are offered in such cases.
