Come kayak along Dublin’s green coastline to the historic Baily Lighthouse. Extreme Time Off specializes in all things canoe and kayak, providing the best equipment and service.

A professional guide will take you on this fun trip from Beach North all the way to the Lighthouse. You will pass Martello tower, a coastal tower built in the 19th century. Sea birds like cormorants, terns, and seagulls will be accompanying you along the way and -with some luck of the Irish- a group of seals may stop by and say hello. You will take a little break on a small beach at the base of the cliffs for some light refreshments. This kayaking session is suitable for beginners or experts! The goal is to have a great day out at sea and discover the beauty of Baily Lighthouse up close.

Baily Lighthouse is located on a rocky promontory overlooking Dublin Bay. The lighthouse as it is today was built in 1814 and stands 134 feet above the sea. The location itself holds a deep history, being the sight where the Vikings boarded their long boats to leave Howth for the last time after the Norman invasion in 1177. Come feel the magic for yourself! Extreme Time Off will provide you with all the equipment you need (wetsuit, spay top, water boots, gloves, etc.) and will take pictures for you along the way!
