Discover the history of Mahebourg and the ecosystem of its large lagoon on a boat trip from Blue Bay!
A skipper with a passion for the biodiversity and history of his island awaits you at Blue Bay to take you on a boat trip around the Mahebourg lagoon, the largest lagoon in Mauritius. For almost 2 and a half hours, he will let you discover the lagoon aboard his small motorboat, which can accommodate a maximum of 6 passengers (not including the crew), making it the ideal way to enjoy a friendly getaway in a small group.
This boat trip on the Mahebourg lagoon from Blue Bay will combine discovery and relaxation, the perfect mix for a good time with your small group. The skipper will tell you all about the history of Mahebourg, particularly when you will arrive at Ile au Phare and Ile de la Passe, and will also introduce you to the lagoon's dynamic ecosystem, where you will have the pleasure of doing a snorkelling session.
Between the turquoise waters of the lagoon rich in underwater life and the important history of Mahebourg, your boat trip on the Mahebourg lagoon from Blue Bay will teach you all sorts of interesting things about Mauritius!
- Meeting with the skipper at the Chantauvent Guesthouse
- Board the boat and receive a briefing on the 2.5-hour excursion
- Boat tour of the Mahebourg lagoon, with a stop at Ile au Phare and a snorkelling session
- Return to Blue Bay and end of the activity
