Activity description
Enjoy a unique experience driving your own miniature submarine called a subscooter from Trou aux Biches in Mauritius!
With no need to know how to swim or to have taken a first dive, this underwater scooter experience in Mauritius is accessible to everyone from the age of 8 (16 as the subscooter driver). Equipped with a large transparent dome with a panoramic view in which you can breathe freely, as well as a simple steering wheel and 2 accelerator pedals (maximum speed 4 km/h), you will have no trouble handling it to discover the extraordinary underwater life in the north of Mauritius!
First of all, you will sit on your subscooter on a platform on the surface of the water, then you will be immersed in the water gradually to a depth of 3 metres, alongside 2 certified divers to accompany you and look after your safety. You will then have 30 minutes to make the most of your underwater scooter excursion in Mauritius! You will be greeted by a host of curious, colourful fish, and if you are lucky, maybe even a turtle!

- Welcome at the Blue Safari Submarine kiosk
- Boarding at the hotel jetty and 10 minutes sailing by speedboat to the base of operations, the barge "Ti'Betty"
- Briefing on the activity, distribution of wetsuits and equipment (changing rooms on site)
- Departure for a 30 minutes underwater excursion to a depth of 3 metres
- Disembarkation and undressing (changing rooms and shower available)
- Refreshment with a cocktail and return to the meeting point by speedboat
Activity requirements
Driver minimum age: 16 years old
This activity is not suitable for pregnant people or people suffering from heart, cardiovascular or respiratory diseases, eardrum problems and/or claustrophobia.
Special terms
People with a physical disability are welcome on request (please inform us in advance).
If you don't want to take part in the activity and simply want to accompany your loved ones until they embark, simply pay an accompanying person's price on site and you will be entitled to a boat transfer to the base and a cocktail.
