Ride along part of the south coast of Mauritius on an electric mountain bike from Bel Ombre to Souillac for a superb 6-hour guided tour!
Wild and less frequented than other parts of the island, the south of Mauritius offers unique landscapes, with black pebble and white sand beaches along a rough ocean. And there is no better way to visit this part of the island than on an electric mountain bike from Bel Ombre to Souillac, accompanied by a local guide who will tell you all about the history and anecdotes of the superb sites you will pass along the way!
Departing from Place du Moulin in Bel Ombre, you will take the beautiful coastal road lined with coconut palms to Souillac. On your way, you will pass the Jacotet Bay before reaching Rivière Des Galets and its black pebble beach, then continue on to Souillac via its old port, the Batelage de la Grande Rivière Sud-Est. Your guide will take you to other historic sites of Mauritian heritage (the Telfair Garden, the magistracy and the remains of the old Mauritius railway station), then on to Gris Gris Beach to see La Roche qui Pleure. Then it will be time for an authentic local lunch, one of the highlights of your electric mountain bike tour in Souillac before returning to Bel Ombre!

- Meeting with your guide at the Place du Moulin in Bel Ombre
- Allocation of the bikes, equipment and safety briefing
- Departure for a 6-hour excursion on an electric mountain bike: head for Rivière Des Galets and its beaches via Jacotet Bay, continue to Souillac to reach Gris Gris Beach and Roche qui Pleure, then lunch at a local's house (starter, main course, dessert with water, juice and light snack) before returning to Bel Ombre via the beaches of Riambel and St Felix
- Return to the starting point in Bel Ombre, de-equipping and end of the activity

Minimum height: 143 cm
Knowing how to ride a bike is compulsory for this activity.

On request, and for a minimum of 4 participants, a safety vehicle can be made available.
