Big Fish Safari in the Lagoon of Mayotte

Sea Blue Safari will make you live a unique and unforgettable moment, you will have the chance to observe closely different species of big fish in the Lagoon of Mayotte.

Numerous species of bigfishes live in complete freedom in the outer waters of the big lagoon. In the outer waters of the Great Barrier Reef, you will surely come across grey reef sharks, white tip sharks, but also sailfish, barracudas, etc.

With 20years of experience and passion in the observation of marine mammals, Sea Blue Safari will gladly share all its knowledge during this safari to discover the extreme richness of the Lagoon that surrounds the island of Mayotte. Head offshore for a sensational day on the reef in search of the Big Fish!

You will have the chance to swim with them, while respecting the rules of approach in order to observe them without disturbing them.

The island of Mayotte or the island with the immense lagoon is the ideal place : close to the south-east coast of Africa, it is awonder of nature with a lagoon of a richness ïnouie.

Course of the activity :

The departure is at 8:00 am from Mamoudzou and/orPetite Terre to the Big Fish searchareas, a breakfast awaits you on board !

After a safety briefing, you will dive in the water accompanied by your guide to observe the Big Fish.

Sea Blue Safari uses a respectful technique to attract sharks and fish. No food or blood is used, which could disturb the naturally curious behaviour of these big fish.

This is followed by the tasting of a local punch on a white sandy island and lunch at around 1pm on a wild beach paradise.

In the afternoon, a beautiful walk on the Lagoon awaits you with a snorkeling stop on a fabulous coral reef.

The return trip will take place around 4pm in Mamoudzou with lots of beautiful images in mind!
