Activity description

Discover the breathtaking mountainous landscapes of beautiful Norway on horseback during this immersive overnight adventure! Explore the wilderness that surrounds Jotunheimen and Langsua National Parks. All levels of experience are welcome!

This excursion offers two departure times in the morning and afternoon. The morning ride is perfect for those who want more time in the saddle, whereas the afternoon start is ideal for families with smaller children. Each excursion is customized based on the experience levels of participants.

Your journey begins at the Myhre Gård farm where you'll meet your experienced guide who will assist with packing your belongings. After an itinerary and safety briefing, you'll be introduced to your four-legged companion! Your guide will share basic riding techniques, including how to stop, steer, and control a horse. Once they are brushed and saddled, you'll mount your horse and hit the trail!

On morning treks, you will stop halfway and make a day camp. After the horses have been watered and fed, it will be time for you to relax around a campfire and enjoy a hot meal with refreshments.

Both afternoon and morning tours will arrive at a charming mountain farm at the end of the day. Although the traditional cabin doesn't have electricity, it is equipped with a fireplace and you'll be provided with candles for a cosy evening. After a hardy and delicious meal, you'll unwind to the sounds of nature and the horses grazing in the nearby pastures.

Following a peaceful night, you'll wake up refreshed and ready for another day on the trails! Your guide will meet your group after breakfast, you'll pack your belongings and saddle up for the trek back to the village.

Get away from the hustle and bustle of city life! This 2-day horseback riding experience near Beitostolen promises to be a wildlife and nature excursion to remember. Book your next adventure today!
