From the other side, travel to is a to Preikestolen Lodge and lace up your hiking boots at the trailhead. A three-hour hike along a wild yet well-maintained route, as you travel up the final set of stone cut stairs, Pulpit Rock's infamous platform comes into view. From here, you can enjoy the scenery and catch your breath - marking the moment with photos from the top. After a picnic lunch, start your hike back to the ferry port - returning back to Stavanger by late afternoon.
Suitable for anyone of good physical fitness, there are a number of demanding sections during the hike, chain railings have been secured along the trail for your safety and support. Hiking boots are strongly encouraged, or trail running shoes, at the very least.
