Created in 1976, the Tagus Estuary Nature Reserve is a Portuguese protected area of 34,000 hectares that welcomes every year about 50,000 migratory water birds such as flamingos, ducks... One of the best ways to visit the Tagus Estuary in Lisbon is by boat.
