Located on the southern tip of the African Continent is the vibrant city of Cape Town! Cape Town is widely known for its beautiful beaches and its coastline is also home to a diverse variety of marine life, including the Great African Kelp Forest, whales, dolphins, Cape Fur seals and more! There is no better way to get to know Cape Town differently than by scuba diving, and Cape Town offers an incredible experience for experienced and beginner scuba divers alike. If you are fascinated by the ocean and hold your PADI open water certificate, scuba diving in the Great Africa Seaforest, the only forest of giant bamboo kelp on the planet, is a must-do when in Cape Town!

Your scuba diving in Cape Town adventure begins after being picked up from your accommodations in central Cape Town (please specify when booking) or you can choose to meet onsite. Either way, upon your arrival at the diving centre, you and your group (a maximum of 5 participants) will be greeted by your experienced and certified scuba diving instructor. After a safety and itinerary briefing, you'll receive your scuba diving equipment, which includes one tank per person. Then, the adventure begins!

After driving to the dive site of the day and making a short 100 metre trek to the shore launch site in your scuba gear, it is time to get in the water and explore the kelp forest! Be sure to keep your eyes peeled because you may encounter penguins, small sharks, various schools of fish, octopi, and other sea creatures! With the kelp moving from side to side in the currents coupled with the light streaming through between the gaps, you are sure to have a magical experience scuba diving in Capetown! After a surface interval break, you will then head to a separate dive site within the kelp forest for your second dive of the day. Once your 2 shore dives have been completed, you will finish the day at the dive centre where you will de-equip and fill out a log book if you wish.

Book your Cape Town scuba diving adventure now and discover Cape Town like never before!
