Activity description

Hop onto our boat as we head from Knysna Harbour to the iconic Knysna Heads - where the calm waters of the estuary meet the turbulent waves of the open sea.

This short boat excursion aims to show you around the bay's beautiful landscape, and give you a glimpse of the host of biodiversity that lives in the area. On the way, we will discuss the geological particularities of the area, some historical anecdotes, as well as what makes the area so unique in terms of its ecosystem.

Not only will you be told about the rich marine life in these waters, you will also get a front-seat view to it. Frequent sightings include dolphins, seals, penguins, and pelagic birdlife.

Come and find out exactly why Knysna is such a hub for travellers coming to South Africa!
