Half-day excursion (5,5h) to the most emblematic mountain in Catalonia crowned by a Benedictine monastery, Montserrat is an ideal excursion to spend a fun day in nature, just a few kilometres from Barcelona. Led by experienced guides, the route is suitable for all ages. Enjoy the ride and the spectacular views of the mountain without worrying about your previous riding level.
On the way to the monastery, admire the Montserrat Massif, a spectacular rocky mountain range with multiple peaks full of unique needle-like formations. Upon arrival, visit the monastery, which was founded in the 10th century and is still in operation today, with more than 70 monks. It is also known for housing the figure of the Moreneta (visit not guaranteed), who is the patron saint of Catalonia.
