Have you ever wondered what lies beneath our feet, what hides beneath the ground we walk on? If you are fascinated by the wonderful world of caves, caving is the sport for you!
Some of the best caves in Spain are to be found in the north, such as the famous Altamira Caves or the Soplao Cave, both in Cantabria. But don't worry, because if you're in La Rioja you're in luck, as you'll find caves such as the Peñamiel Cave or the Lóbrega Cave, which are real natural museums.
Just half an hour from Logroño, a caving adventure awaits you in the cave of Peñamiel with the help of Logroaventura's instructors, who have a great deal of experience in the field of caving. The Peñamiel cave is located in the village of Padrillo and is perfect for everyone, as it is not very complicated. But that doesn't mean it's not intense, because you'll spend 3 hours crawling and climbing through the two galleries of the Peñamiel cave. And the effort will have a great reward: a magnificent spectacle of stalagmites and stalactites!
