The route of l'Escala (Cala Montgó) will allow you to begin climbing at sea level: you will get to the foot of the wall on boat and, from there, you will begin the ascent.

L'Escala is a municipality in the comarca of the Alt Empordà in Girona, Catalonia. It is situated on the Costa Brava, located 20 minutes from L´Estartit between the southern end of the Gulf of Roses and Cala Montgó.
Multi-pitch climbing is the ascent of climbing routes with one or more stops at a belay station. Each section of actual climbing between stops at the belay stations is called a pitch. The leader ascends the pitch, placing gear and stopping to anchor themselves to the belay station.
We offer you a multi-Pitch route for people who want to experience impressive emotions at 100m altitudes. One of the best climbing areas in Costa Brava: Cala Montgo in L'Escala. You will arrive in a boat (10-15 minutes) sailing with the zodiac, just next to Cala Montgó, and once past the first cave, you will find the first high stop. Once the route has been climbed, the return is along the Gulf of Roses, a 30 to 40-minute walk along a beautiful coastal path that separates Punta Milà from Cala Montgó.
It will be an unforgettable experience!
