Activity Snapshot
Activity description
On this thrilling whitewater adventure near Verbier, you and your team will conquer the river Dranse in the Chablais Alps. The name Dranse comes from the Celtic language and means "torrent" – so be prepared for an action-packed day on the river with an adrenaline guarantee!
But first, you are going to meet your personal guide for this tour at the meeting point in Sembrancher (15 mins by bus from Martigny) or at the meeting point defined with your instructors after booking. You will be introduced to the activity and briefed on the safety instructions. In Switzerland, rafters need to wear a helmet and life jacket which will be provided by the guide. Safety first!
Starting in Pont de la Douceur, you will spend the next 45 minutes on the river and master descents and rapids from range 2 to 3. At the end of the tour, you will be returned to the starting point (or as agreed with your instructors).
This tour is perfectly suited for large groups and families with children from 8-years on. Please note, that all participants need to be able to swim and in a healthy condition.
