Stockholm is a truly amazing city with its archipelago of 30 000 islands, rocks, and skerries. To explore the beauty of Stockholm from a higher perspective during summer is an unforgettable experience. A truly magical flight, during which you will have the possibility to look down below at the stunning Nordic landscape of Stockholm.
The hot air balloon flight starts off at the meeting point. From there you will be transported by a minibus to the starting point of the flight. Once at the starting field, you will be able to help to put and to prepare the hot air balloon before departure. This is a great way to see and learn more about the functions of the fantastic hot air balloon itself. A fun fact, the hot air balloon can be filled with 10 000 cubic meters of air. Kind of impressive!? Overall, the time to prepare the balloon for departure takes around 30-40 minutes.
The flight itself takes around 1 hour depending on weather conditions. You will experience the beautiful experience from above, a truly amazing experience that you will never forget! After this, you will land and be transferred back to the original meeting point. Filled with new exciting memories of the beautiful capital of Stockholm.
Keep in mind that the activity is very weather dependent - you have to get in contact with your instructor 3-4 hours before the agreed meeting time to confirm if the activity can take place.
- Meet at the meeting point. Transfer by bus to the point of departure.
- Participating in the preparation of the balloon for 30-40 minutes.
- 1-hour balloon flight.
- Help to put together the balloon equipment.
- Transfer back to the meeting point.
In total: the whole experience takes about 4 hours. Keep in mind that the activity is heavily weather dependent.
