Just a few minutes away from Locarno, Ascona, and the stunning Lake Maggiore, lies a dream-like gorge: Corippo!
Corippo is an ideal canyon for both beginners and unforgettable family adventures. It offers a unique blend of narrow passages, emerald green pools, lush vegetation, and exhilarating slides, ensuring a fantastic experience for people of all ages. The best part? There's no need for arduous ascents or demanding rappelling points.
This canyon truly showcases the beauty of the Verzasca Valley, and we'll meet directly in the charming village of Corippo. As we begin our canyoning tour, we'll embark on a leisurely 15-minute ascent, providing breathtaking views of the quaint village, famously known as the village with the fewest inhabitants in Switzerland. Corippo boasts stone houses and granite slab roofs, making it one of the few permanently inhabited villages in Ticino.
Once we leave Corippo behind, we'll enter the Corippo Valley, where our canyoning adventure in the Verzasca Valley begins. The starting point is easily accessible, and the initial part of the tour allows for climbing out of the canyon at any time.
After a safety briefing, we'll practice various abseiling techniques, take a small test jump, and experience a short slide. At this point, we'll decide together whether to continue through the entire canyon or explore the upper part, discovering secret abseiling, jumping, and sliding spots along the way.
The tour concludes with a slide that drops us directly into the Vogorno Reservoir, its height determined by the water level of the lake. This reservoir is renowned for its association with the famous Bungee Jumping 007 GoldenEye!
To wrap up our adventure, we'll swim across the lake in just a few minutes and return to the car after a short 15-minute walk. This is also the perfect time to decide whether to stop and enjoy a meal at one of the two typical Ticino grottos in Corippo.
This canyon is like a water park, catering to every preference! The jumps can be adjusted to various heights, providing an exciting challenge for all. That's why Corippo is an excellent choice for family canyoning, teambuilding activities, outings with friends, or even a thrilling bachelor party!

- Family-Focused: Families with younger children or individuals with physical disabilities can opt for the upper area of the Corippo Valley, offering a playful canyoning experience. No previous knowledge is required, only swimming skills are necessary.
- Certified Guides: Our knowledgeable guides will accompany you throughout the tour, ensuring your safety and providing instructions on abseiling and other important aspects of canyoning.
Group Size and Experience:
- Maximum Seven Participants: To enhance your experience and safety, our canyoning tours have a maximum group size of seven participants.
- Personalized Experience: Smaller groups allow our guides to provide individual attention and assistance whenever needed, fostering a closer bond among participants and a deeper connection with nature.

Special terms
- All-inclusive: The price of the tour includes the special equipment required, ensuring a hassle-free experience without the need for significant equipment investments.
- Contact lenses or glasses are no problem with canyoning. As a spectacle wearer, please bring a pair of spectacles and a waterproof case to transport the glasses in the canyon, if necessary.
- Due to unpredictable weather conditions, we reserve the option to change the canyon and start time if necessary.
