An exclusive secret, pioneered by a team of adventure nomads, take off from Towan Beach to explore the slews, wash throughs and rapids of this exciting cave and cliff coasteering excursion. Take a leap of faith as you tombstone into aquamarine pools and meet the area's curious seal population that regularly pop up to say hello! A two-hour adventure conveniently located just minutes from the iconic Gazel Headland, the peninsula offers some of the most beautiful yet ecologically diverse and historically fascinating coasteering routes in Europe.

Location
A secret location only known by a select few, this coasteering course in Newquay is located just minutes from Towan Beach. Using a rocky outcrop known as Smeagol’s Perch, this cliff and cave route in Cornwall explores old smugglers' caves and is a sanctuary for the area's resident seal population. Newquay’s Gazzle Headland is famed for its sea cliff jumps, rapids and whirlpools - with many areas inaccessible at high tide. 

Activity
To really ramp up the laughs during your Super Stand Up Paddle Boarding Newquay adventure, you will moore up and pit your wits against one another in a series of hilariously funny SUP games (King of the SUP, Sumo SUP and SUP racing). And if that’s not enough action, exercise and laughter, there’s, even more, to Stand Up Paddle Boarding in Newquay …once you’ve got your breath back, you’ll then be invited to disembark the craft and join one of our unforgettable coasteers.

During your Coasteering you’ll be taught how to make your way along Newquay’s cliffs and coastline by means of climbing, jumping, traversing, swimming and diving. You’ll spot incredible marine life, negotiate natural rapids, sluices and whirlpools before attempting adrenalin-fuelled sea cliff jumps. Don’t despair if this sounds too extreme; we always have alternative options for the slightly more reserved. There’s something for everyone and it's a no-pressure tour. The activity is tailored to the group's preferred level of intensity.

Conditions
Coasteering combines sea swimming, low-level climbing, traversing, natural rapid riding and ledge leaps into deep water plunge pools. Coasteering tackles a rugged coastal route so you will need to bring a pair of lace-up shoes with hard soles. With less sea swimming involved, you’ll be confronted by an awesome cave with taxing yet fun traverses and an epic jump into a deep-water gulley.
