Get to know Propulsion Rafting

Discover white water sports on the Rouge River in Quebec, between Montreal and Ottawa, with Propulsion Rafting : rafting, canoraft or cataraft !

Officially born on December 10th 1982, the Propulsion Rafting base was founded by Marc Masson who remained at its head for more than 20 years. And since 2006, it is Nicolas Achim who manages this center composed of a fleet of more than 25 boats! While he considered rafting as a "sick" sport, he made his first rafting descent in 1989 and became a guide against all odds, a job that became a passion that took him all over Quebec and the United States.

Nicolas has surrounded himself with a team of men and women of all ages with a strong sense of responsibility, a growing passion for whitewater, a fervor for doing the right thing and a desire to share the best that life has to offer. The team is constantly growing and shares values that are important to everyone: safety, responsibility, brotherhood and self-confidence.

On the base, renovated facilities await you to make the most of your whitewater outing: showers, toilets, a relaxation area with spa, pool, lounge chairs and hammocks, as well as a volleyball court, an iron game and a large grassy field. What a great day to spend on the Rouge River, a river renowned for rafting in North America!
