Get to know the south of Alicante with the Via ferrata of Redován, one of the most interesting climbing spots in the area!
In the Sierra de Callosa in Alicante, you will find the Via ferrata of Redován, built in 2018 by Vía Libre and promoted by the town council of Redován, a beautiful municipality in Alicante. This via ferrata is the second longest in Alicante, quite vertical and sporty, but very safe. During the traverse you will face challenges such as hanging bridges, the passage of the staircase or the hinge and climbing with clamps.
The Via ferrata of Redován has two sections. The first is suitable for the whole family, combining vertical and horizontal trails, where you will cross Tibetan bridges and climb low-difficulty walls. The second part is more complicated, so we recommend it for those who are used to do this kind of routes and above all who are not afraid of heights, because you will climb with clamps very vertical walls that will take you to viewpoints of 60 and 90 meters high!

Via Ferrata of Redován with two sections of different levels. You can choose between doing the first part of the via ferrata K2 (3h), suitable for everyone, or do the complete via ferrata K4 (5h), a more difficult and sporty section.
Course of events
- Starting point: Polideportivo Los Pasos.
- Climbing by iron staples nailed to the stone wall.
- A 25-metre bridge that crosses a ravine from one side to the other.
- Ramp with handrails to access a Tibetan bridge.
- Swings, monkey bridge and vertical path with iron staples (1 hour duration). In case it is considered difficult, a path can be accessed to return to a safe place.
- Start of the K4 section (5 hours) for those who wish to continue: Paso de la Bisagra, 90 metres high; inverted staircase with views of the void and 40-metre suspension bridge.
Activity requirements
Be in good physical shape.
Pregnant people are not advised to participate in this activity.
Do not have vertigo.
