Practical information
A boat tour in the Mayotte lagoon (8 hours) to observe and, if possible (weather conditions, animal behavior, etc.) swim with dolphins, as well as manta rays in season, from March to July.
- Meeting with the team at the Mamoudzou marina or in Petite-Terre, 15 minutes before the start of the excursion
- Boarding of the boat with a briefing on the day's programme and safety instructions on board
- Sailing to the north or south of the lagoon, depending on weather conditions
- First snorkelling stop on a coral reef and breakfast on board
- Search phase for dolphins and manta rays, with an observation phase if the animals are found, followed by a launch if all the conditions are right
- Aperitif on an islet of white sand (local punch) before lunch on a wild beach in Mayotte at around 1 p.m.
- Return to the boat for another dolphin watching session in the lagoon
- Last snorkelling stop on a coral reef before a foray into a mangrove swamp, tide permitting
- Sail back to Mamoudzou, arriving around 3.15 p.m.
- Disembarkation and end of the activity

All participants must know how to swim to take part in the launches during this activity.
All children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time.
This activity is not recommended for pregnant people.
Since wildlife is unpredictable, their presence is never guaranteed. Also, manta rays can be seen in the lagoon between March and July.
