The Haute Savoie department contains a plethora of ski resorts, a never ending list - from cosy family run resorts to high end luxury ones. Home to the first ever Winter Olympics, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc is a popular destination known for housing some of the most beautiful peaks in the region, allowing you to practice sports like rocking climbing, mountaineering and ice climbing.

Last but not least, Chamonix gives your direct access to the Vallée Blanche, a unique glacial valley situated at the foot of L’Aiguille du Midi at a 3.400m altitude. It boasts a 20km backcountry off-piste itinerary with a vertical descent of 2700m!
Argentiere is a charming alpine village in the Chamonix valley. It is home to the world famous skiing resort of Les Grands Montets, a paradise for snowboarders and freeriders. Its centralised location also makes it extremely easy to access the valley's 3 other ski zones, Vallée Blanche, Domaine de Balme and Brevent/Flegere.
Located just next to Chamonix Valley is Vallorcine, a quaint village away from the hustle and bustle of mainstream Chamonix itself. It is an utterly enchanting and unspoilt small ski village known to a select few, and has direct access to Domaine de Balme.
