Practical information
A private day trip from Cape Town including a zip-line course in the Hottentots-Holland Nature Reserve (4 hours of adventure between 13 platforms, on zip-lines up to 320 metres long), a lunch break at a winery (lunch not included in the price), and 2 wine tastings in the Elgin Valley.
Course of events
- Pick-up from your accommodation in Cape Town in a private vehicle
- Approximately 1.5 hours drive to the Hottentots-Holland Nature Reserve
- Briefing on the zip-line activity and safety instructions, with distribution of the required equipment
- Short 4x4 transfer to the starting point of the course
- Departure for approximately 4 hours of zip-lining in the Hottentots-Holland Nature Reserve
- Once the activity is over, transfer to a winery where you can enjoy a 2-hour lunch break (meal not included)
- Visit of 2 vineyards in the Elgin Valley where you can taste wines
- Return to your accommodation in Cape Town at around 5.30 p.m.
Activity requirements
All children must be accompanied by an adult: children under 9 years old must complete the zipline activity with an adult.
