The origin of Salza is located in Mariazell, it flows into the Enns near Großreifling. The Palfau gorge in particular offers a scenically unforgettable and impressive panorama.
From the wildly romantic Salza river valley through dense forests, green alpine meadows to rocky mountains: Palfau in the Styrian Gesäuse offers adventurers a variety of activities.
Visitors experience unforgettable days on hiking trails, mountain tours and on river banks. A special highlight is a tour through the Wasserlochklamm.

After a relatively short descent (1/2 - 1 hour) you will receive an introduction by your guides. Depending on the weather, water level and group size, there are several canyons to choose from. The canyoning route is set by the guide at the equipment issue and lasts between 2.5 and 3.5 hours.
