Tyrol in Austria is a paradise for outdoor sports, well-known by people who love adrenaline-packed adventures.

Whether it is your first time flying or you are an experienced passenger of the open sky, you will be part of a safe and thrilling experience. An experienced pilot, with over 2000 successful flights will brief you and fly with you so that you can admire the unmatched beauty of Tyrol above Imst in the safest hands possible. Young or old, sporty or a shy beginner, it doesn't matter. Everybody is welcome, starting from as young as 5 years old as long as you can walk the few steps that will take you to soaring in the sky like a majestic bird. 
Two flight options are offered: a shorter, classic tandem paragliding flight for those who have never flown before and an exhilarating thermal flight option for the more experienced passengers.

The flying areas are respectively Hochötz, Hoch Imst, Venet, Soelden, Rifflsee and Hochweiser; giving you many options to discover the Tyrolean mountains and valleys from a bird's eye view. According to the weather conditions, paragliding is a sport that is available all year round.

Classic tandem paragliding flight for beginners who have never flown before. The altitude for this flight is 700-1440 metres.

Course of events

- Meet & Greet at the lift ticket office station of your chosen flight area 

- Cable car ride up to the launch site

- Putting on the equipment, safety briefing, take-off simulation 

- Launching run and 20-30 minutes of flight

- Debriefing

Activity requirements

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

The minimum weight for this activity is 20 kg and the maximum weight is 100 kg.

Passengers must be able to walk a few steps during take-off.

Special terms

Participants with cardiovascular problems or severe asthma can not take part in a paragliding flight.

Once your booking has been confirmed, please get in touch with the instructor directly to organize the flying area and schedule your time slot. The meeting point is always at the lift ticket office in the valley of your flying area.

In the Hoch Ötz flying area, if the lift is closed, passengers are taken to the launch site by car. 

Please note that the flight can take place between 9 am and 3 pm, depending on the weather conditions.

Thermal tandem paragliding flight for passengers who have flown before. On good days it is possible to soar above 3000 metres or even higher.
