Practical information
From March to April, Flying Fox XXL is open from 10 AM to 4 PM.
From May to October, Flying Fox XXL is open from 9.30 AM to 4 PM.
- Meet your instructor in the Flying Fox Info Office at the valley station of the Asitz cable car about 30 minutes before your scheduled time
- Check-in and receive all equipment
- Ride with the cable car to the starting point of the Flying Fox XXL
- Safety instruction
- Flight with the Flying Fox XXL
- Transfer back to the starting point with the shuttle bus
Participants aged up to 18 must provide written consent from a parent or guardian.
Body weight between 35 and 110 kg (the minimum & maximum weight may vary depending on the weather conditions!).
Pregnant women are prohibited from taking part.
Flying Fox XXL is closed in the event of rain, high winds and storms.
Flying Fox XXL can be closed every moment depending on the weather situation. If this is the case, you will be able to book a replacement slot.
If you are coming from far away, please call in advance to check whether your flight can take place.

The adventure, called “Flying Fox XXL”, invites you, whatever your age, to soar into the valley like superman at speeds of up to 130 km/h.
You take off from the Stöcklalm and fly a full 1.6 km across the valley at heights of up to 143 m, with fantastic views of the breathtaking Leogang mountains.
The feeling you get is akin to a weightless freefall feeling, similar to hang gliding, but much, much faster.
Safely secured in a harness in a lying position, you hurtle down into the valley on your belly, soaring over impressive scenery and enjoying the world from a bird’s eye perspective.
Spectators are very welcome – they have the best view from the middle station and the Stöcklalm, right next to the Senses Park.
