Guided Exploration Dives on the island of Santa Maria, Azores

• Meeting with your guide at the dive centre
• Equipment (changing rooms are available on site)
• Selection of dive sites and planning of the activity with the dive centre
• Briefing on the activity and equipment check
• Transfer from the dive centre to the marina
• Boat trip of 15 to 45 minutes depending on the dive site chosen
• 1st dive with your guide
• Break on the boat (snacks and water provided)
• 2nd dive with your guide
• Return trip to the dive centre and debriefing

This activity is reserved for certified divers. You must be able to present a valid certification to carry out the activities. Example of accepted certification: Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Advanced Adventurer, Scuba Diver, Level 1 Diver, Level 2 Diver…

Please note that you must bring a medical certificate from your GP dated within the last 3 months stating that you are allowed to practice this activity.

All participants under 18 must provide written parental consent.

Please note that you cannot fly for 24 hours after your last scuba dive.

The dive trips are adjusted according to the timetable defined by the authorities whenever diving in one of the four marine reserves (Pedrinha, Ambrósio, Baixa da Maia and Ilhéu da Vila).

The choice of the dive sites may change depending on the weather conditions and the experience of the divers.
