One of the most important is the Parque Natural de Levante, in Artà, in the north of Mallorca, which with its more than 20,000 hectares stretches from the Cap de Ferrutx to Punta de n'Amer in the south, the Torrent de na Borges in the west and the Punta de Capdepera. There are also two nature reserves: the Cap de Ferrutx Nature Reserve and the Cap des Freus Nature Reserve.
