With one of the best-preserved marine ecosystems in the Balearic Islands, Menorca is surrounded by crystal-clear waters teeming with underwater life, including seagrass, fish, octopus and starfish. So if you fancy exploring the island and cooling off on a hot day, don't miss this guided snorkelling excursion departing from Cala'n Bosch, in the south-west of the island! You will have the pleasure of setting off for around 3 hours at sea, aboard a speedboat that can accommodate a maximum of 12 participants. On the programme for this maritime escapade: 2 snorkelling stops of 45 minutes each, at little-frequented spots along coves and/or exclusive wild beaches!
The highlight of this guided snorkelling excursion in Menorca is the presence of a marine biologist at your side throughout the activity. Thanks to him, you will get a wealth of enriching information about the species encountered underwater, the island's ecosystem, declared a biosphere reserve in 1993, and how to preserve it by behaving responsibly (not touching marine life, not leaving litter, etc.). The guide will show you where to look below the surface to make sure you don't miss anything. Get ready to be amazed by the richness and beauty of Menorca's underwater world, with the help of your fins, mask and snorkel!
With its temperate waters (13°C at its lowest in April and up to 28°C at the height of summer) and superb beaches and coves, Menorca is a must-see Balearic destination for those who enjoy a seaside getaway away from the archipelago's other larger, busier islands. So if you are planning to go there and want to see further than just the shores of the beaches, be sure to join this guided snorkelling excursion from Cala'n Bosch!
