Activity description

Discover one of the most famous hiking routes in Mallorca on the Torrent de Pareís exploring the Tramuntana mountain range from Escorca to Sa Calobra.

Escorca is a municipality located in the northwestern part of the island of Mallorca and is part of the Sierra Tramuntana mountain range declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. There you can find one of the most enchanted corners of Mallorca, El Torrent de Pareis is a 3 km long canyon with vertical walls of 200 meters high where you can discover the flora and fauna of the region while you make a physical challenge passing through small villages and historic sites. This canyon starts in s'Entreforc, where you will find two other torrents: the Torrent de Lluc or Albarca and the Torrent del GorgBlau.

Your hike in Mallorca starts at the car park in Escorca where you will see a sign with all the information for your great adventure in the Tramuntana mountains of Mallorca. You will start with the descent towards the 263 metre Torrent de Lluc, a rocky path that is covered most of the time with vegetation, while on the other side you will be able to enjoy the views of the summit of Puig Roig and the old Carabineros barracks. Once you have passed the Torrent de Lluc, you will see how it joins the Torrent de Gorg Blau, where the Torrent de Pareís begins. There you will continue to S'Entreforc where you will see the Cova del Soldat Pelut and the Cova des Romagueral. There are still some complicated stretches to the finish line, such as Grassos estrenyeu-vos and S'Estaló. When you reach Font des Degotís you can say that you have overcome all the difficulties, you will soon reach your goal at the mouth of the Torrent, ending your hike through Mallorca on the beach of Sa Calobra.

Don't miss this hike excursion in Mallorca along its vertical cliffs while reaching great heights surrounded by rocky landscapes and natural formations in the Sierra Tramuntana mountain range.
